(December 1, 2007: Rye, NY 10580) Mann (Riverdale, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Rye Country Day Wildcats (Rye, NY), 33-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mann upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The travel to Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY) to encounter the Dutchmen in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 8. The Dutchmen go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Tappan Zee won 65-56 in their recent non-league bout against Ramapo (Spring Valley, NY)

Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Hamden Hall Country Day (Hamden, CT) in a Fairchester bout, on Thursday, December 6. Rye Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 34-29 non-league win over Wheeler (Providence, RI).
