GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Mann over Holy Child

(September 22, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) In Monday's non-league contest, the Mann Lions (Bronx, NY) volleyball squad knocked off the host Holy Child Gryphons (Rye, NY), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Poly Prep Country Day Blue Devils (Brooklyn, NY) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, September 26. Mann will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Berkeley Carroll (Brooklyn, NY).

With the loss, Holy Child moves to 1-3 on the year. The Gryphons travel to Greens Farms Academy (Greens Farms, CT) to face the Dragons in a Fairchester outing on Wednesday, September 24. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Greens Farms Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT)
