New York High School Volleyball - Holy Child over Masters

(October 17, 2008: Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522) In Friday's league contest, the Holy Child Gryphons (Rye, NY) volleyball squad knocked off the host Masters Panthers (Dobbs Ferry, NY), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Gryphons battle the Nightingale-Bamford Nighthawks (New York, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 18. Holy Child will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Nighthawks come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mann (Bronx, NY).

With the loss, Masters drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mann (Bronx, NY) to battle the Lions in a non-league contest on Monday, October 20. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 8-1.
