(November 3, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Holy Child Gryphons (Rye, NY) and the visiting Hamden Hall Country Day (Hamden, CT), saw Holy Child's volleyball squad nip Hamden Hall Country Day by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Holy Child upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Gryphons travel to King (New York, NY) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 4. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-9. King lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Graphic Communication Arts (New York, NY)
