(October 29, 2008: Stamford, CT 06905) The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the King & Low-Heywood Thomas Vikings (Stamford, CT) and the visiting Holy Child Gryphons (Rye, NY), saw King & Low-Heywood Thomas's volleyball squad beat Holy Child by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, King & Low-Heywood Thomas upgrades its record to 20-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Hopkins (New Haven, CT) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 31. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Hopkins won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Taft (Watertown, CT)

The Gryphons now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Hamden Hall Country Day for a non-league bout on Monday, November 3. Holy Child will play a squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Greens Farms Academy (Greens Farms, CT). The record now stands at 5-4.
