(December 12, 2007: Tarrytown, NY 10591) Hackley Hornets (Tarrytown, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Rye Country Day Wildcats (Rye, NY), 34-23 in a non-league bout.

The Hornets now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dalton for a non-league bout on Friday, December 14. Hackley will play a Tigers squad coming off a 55-34 non-league win over Columbia Prep (New York, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Green Meadow Waldorf Warriors (Spring Valley, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 13. Rye Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
