(September 10, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) The Hamden Hall Country Day volleyball team (Hamden, CT), was dropped 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Holy Child Gryphons (Rye, NY)

The Gryphons (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against King & Low-Heywood Thomas (Stamford, CT). The Vikings enter the Fairchester challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, King & Low-Heywood Thomas notched a victory over Dalton (New York, NY), 5-0, in a non-league bout.

The now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Masters for a Fairchester bout on Saturday, September 13.
