(December 28, 2007: Staten Island, NY 10301) The St. Peter's Golden Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders to 59 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Hayes for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 29. St. Peter's will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 50-47 non-league win over Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-3.

The Crusaders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Briarcliff was nudged by Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY), 50-47, in a non-league contest.
