New York High School Football - Iona Prep topples St. Anthony's

(October 25, 2008: New Rochelle, NY 10804) The Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) football defeated the visiting St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY), 41-21 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Gaels face the St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY) in a Catholic AAA bout, on Sunday, November 2. Iona Prep will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Terriers enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 20-6 league loss to Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY).
