New York High School Football - Xaverian tipped by Fordham Prep

(October 11, 2008: Bronx, NY 10458) The Xaverian Clippers football team (Brooklyn, NY), was tipped 30-27 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY)

The Rams (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY). The Terriers come into the Catholic AAA challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis Prep was tipped by Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY), 42-14, in a league challenge.

The Clippers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. St. Michael Academy for a Catholic AAA challenge on Saturday, October 18. Xaverian will meet a Mountaineers team coming off a 15-13 league loss to Holy Cross (Flushing, NY). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-4.
