New York High School Football - St. Peter's succumbs to Fordham Prep

(September 16, 2006: Staten Island, NY 10301) Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad thwart the host St. Peter's Golden Eagles (Staten Island, NY), 20-6 in a league challenge.

The Rams now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Xaverian for a Catholic AA challenge on Saturday, September 23. Fordham Prep will clash with a Clippers squad coming off a 46-12 league win over Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Clippers record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, St. Peter's moves to 1-1 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY) to clash with the Crusaders in a Catholic AA challenge on Saturday, September 23. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Archbishop Stepinac lost 46-12 in their recent league challenge against Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY)
