New York High School Basketball - Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel ripped by St. Agnes

(January 13, 2008: New Rochelle, NY 10801) The St. Agnes Stags basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel Cardinals to 49 in the Stags league triumph on Sunday.

The Stags now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaSalle Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 17. St. Agnes will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 52-46 league win over St. Edmund Prep (Brooklyn, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-2.

The Cardinals (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Regis (New York, NY). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Regis trounced Salesian (New Rochelle, NY), 75-37, in a non-league contest.
