New York High School Basketball - Fordham Prep nudges Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel

(December 11, 2007: Bronx, NY 10458) Fordham Prep Rams (Bronx, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel Cardinals (New Rochelle, NY), 69-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Fordham Prep upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Canisius (Buffalo, NY) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 14. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Canisius won 60-51 in their recent non-league bout against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY)

Next up, the Cardinals encounter the Sacred Heart Irish (Yonkers, NY) in a Catholic B bout, on Wednesday, December 12. Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Irish go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 57-46 non-league loss to Saunders Trades & Tech (Yonkers, NY).
