(January 18, 2008: New Rochelle, NY 10804) The Iona Prep Gaels ran past the visiting Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders basketball team by a final score of 79-64 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Gaels battle the Monsignor Scanlan Crusaders (Bronx, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, January 21. Iona Prep will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY).

The Crusaders (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. St. Michael Academy (Bronx, NY). The Mountaineers come into the Catholic A - North battle with a 6-8 record.
