New York High School Basketball - Briarcliff tipped by Archbishop Stepinac

(February 10, 2008: White Plains, NY 10605) The Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Briarcliff Bears to 60 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Crusaders now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Spellman for a Catholic A - North contest on Tuesday, February 12. Archbishop Stepinac will confront a Falcons team coming off a 62-47 league loss to Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 5-8.

The Bears (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Hall (Lincolndale, NY). The enter the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Hall nudged Bronxville (Bronxville, NY), 73-58, in a non-league contest.
