New York High School Basketball - Archbishop Stepinac trounces Cardinal Spellman

(January 6, 2008: White Plains, NY 10605) The Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Cardinal Spellman Falcons (Bronx, NY), 77-48 in Sunday's league test.

The Crusaders (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel (New Rochelle, NY). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel walloped Salesian (New Rochelle, NY), 92-91, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Fordham Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 8. Cardinal Spellman will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 53-25 league loss to Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Rams record now stands at 3-7.
