New York High School Basketball - Regis falls to Archbishop Stepinac

(January 11, 2008: White Plains, NY 10605) The Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Regis Raiders to 49 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fordham Prep for a Catholic A - North contest on Sunday, January 13. Archbishop Stepinac will meet a Rams team coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Cardinal Spellman (Bronx, NY). The Rams record now stands at 3-8.

The Raiders (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Spellman (Bronx, NY). The Falcons enter the Catholic A - North contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Spellman ran past Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY), 48-46, in a league contest.
