New York High School Basketball - Archbishop Stepinac trounces Monsignor Scanlan

(December 11, 2007: Bronx, NY 10465) The Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY) basketball crushed the host Monsignor Scanlan Crusaders (Bronx, NY), 77-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY). The Rams go into the Catholic A - North test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Fordham Prep was trounced by Niagara Catholic (Niagara Falls, NY), 69-61, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. John the Baptist for a non-league test on Monday, December 17. Monsignor Scanlan will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst, NY). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
