New York High School Volleyball - Putnam Valley crushed by Lakeland

(September 9, 2008: Shrub Oak, NY 10588) The Lakeland Hornets prevailed the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harrison for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. Lakeland will confront a Huskies team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Valhalla (Valhalla, NY). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Edgemont gained a win over Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
