New York High School Basketball - Leake-Watts thwarts Children's Village

(December 15, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10705) The Leake-Watts Lions (Yonkers, NY) basketball felled the visiting Children's Village (Dobbs Ferry, NY), 67-56 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Haldane (Cold Spring, NY). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Haldane went down by Bronxville (Bronxville, NY), 61-37, in a non-league test.

The now own a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 18. Children's Village will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 52-51 non-league win over Hudson (Montrose, NY). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.
