New York High School Basketball - Nanuet holds off Hastings

(February 7, 2008: Hastings on Hudson, NY 10706) Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY), 47-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nanuet upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Golden Knights travel to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 14. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Pleasantville won 37-29 in their recent league bout against Westlake (Thornwood, NY)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 14. Hastings will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 55-37 non-league win over Hudson (Montrose, NY).
