GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Volleyball - North Rockland tips Ketcham

(October 17, 2008: Thiells, NY 10984) North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Ketcham Indians (Wappingers Falls, NY), 3-2 in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Raiders meet the Clarkstown South Vikings (West Nyack, NY) in a Section 1 Class AA - League B game, on Monday, October 20. North Rockland will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 9-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Clarkstown North (New City, NY).

The Indians (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Mahopac (Mahopac, NY). The Indians enter the Section 1 Class AA - League C game with a 14-6 record. In their last game, Mahopac was nudged by Fox Lane (Bedford, NY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
