Oklahoma High School Basketball - Carmel ripped by Bixby

(December 29, 2007: Bixby, OK 74008) The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK) and the visiting Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY), observed Bixby's basketball team overwhelm Carmel by a final score of 57-32.

With the triumph, Bixby moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Spartans host Catoosa (Catoosa, OK) to confront the Indians in a Metro Lakes match on Tuesday, January 8. The Indians enter the match with a record of 0-4. Catoosa lost 71-21 in their recent league match against Claremore (Claremore, OK)

With the defeat, Carmel moves to 3-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Clarkstown North (New City, NY) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 3. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Clarkstown North won 44-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY)
