The Knights now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to White Plains for a Section 1 I - A battle on Wednesday, January 9. Mt. Vernon will battle a Tigers team coming off a 66-44 non-league win over North Rockland (Thiells, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.

The Huguenots (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Kennedy (Bronx, NY). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Kennedy edged Truman (Bronx, NY), 68-52, in a league battle.
