New York High School Football - Edgemont overwhelms Dover

(October 4, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY) and the visiting Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY), observed Edgemont's football squad bounce Dover by a count of 47-0.

The Panthers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy Catholic for a Section 1 B-2 contest on Saturday, October 11. Edgemont will encounter a Gaels squad coming off a 24-20 league loss to Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY). The Gaels record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Dragons encounter the Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY) in a Section 1 B-2 contest, on Saturday, October 11. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
