(October 31, 2008: Cross River, NY 10536) The Fox Lane Foxes topped the host Jay Indians volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Foxes now have a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestal for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 4. Fox Lane will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Elmira Free Academy (Elmira, NY). The Golden Bears record now stands at 5-2.
