New York High School Basketball - White Plains overwhelms Gorton

(December 17, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10703) Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the White Plains Tigers (White Plains, NY) and the host Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY), saw White Plains's basketball squad trounce Gorton by a score of 86-53.

With the victory, White Plains improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY) to battle the Admirals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Admirals come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Arlington won 63-56 in their recent non-league challenge against North Rockland (Thiells, NY)

Next up, the Wolves battle the North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 19. Gorton will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 70-59 non-league loss to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY).
