New York High School Football - Scarsdale drops to Jay

(October 13, 2007: Cross River, NY 10536) In Saturday's league game, the Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) football team knocked off the visiting Scarsdale Raiders (Scarsdale, NY), by a final score of 31-7.

The Indians (5-1) will now prepare for their game against White Plains (White Plains, NY). The Tigers come into the Section 1 AA - Central game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, White Plains was dropped by Greeley (Chappaqua, NY), 27-7, in a league game.

The Raiders now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Yorktown for a Section 1 AA - Central game on Friday, October 19. Scarsdale will battle a Huskers team coming off a 43-15 league win over Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY). The Huskers record now stands at 5-1.
