New York High School Basketball - Clark Academy overwhelms Rye Neck

(February 1, 2008: Greenburgh, NY ) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clark Academy Knights (Greenburgh, NY) and the visiting Rye Neck Panthers (Mamaroneck, NY), saw Clark Academy's basketball squad trounce Rye Neck by a count of 74-47.

With the victory, Clark Academy upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Knights host North Salem (North Salem, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 4. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 14-1. North Salem won 89-74 in their recent non-league challenge against Jay (Cross River, NY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY) in a Section 1 IV - B challenge, on Tuesday, February 5. Rye Neck will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to Dobbs Ferry (Dobbs Ferry, NY).
