New York High School Basketball - Briarcliff fells Our Lady of Victory Academy

(December 8, 2007: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) The Briarcliff Bears toppled the visiting Our Lady of Victory Academy Jaguars basketball squad by a count of 65-48 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Bears now hold a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Woodlands for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 11. Briarcliff will play a Falcons squad coming off a 60-43 non-league win over Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Cardinal Spellman Falcons (Bronx, NY) in a Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, December 11. Our Lady of Victory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 79-39 non-league loss to Mary Louis Academy (Jamaica, NY).
