GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Basketball - Carmel trounces Jay

(January 18, 2008: Carmel, NY 10512) The Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Jay Indians (Cross River, NY), 66-41 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rams (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Mahopac (Mahopac, NY). The Indians go into the Section 1 I - C test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Mahopac was trounced by Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY), 52-38, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Scarsdale for a non-league contest on Friday, January 25. Jay will meet a Raiders team coming off a 54-48 league loss to Ursuline (New Rochelle, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 6-6.
