New York High School Basketball - Hastings succumbs to Nanuet

(January 16, 2008: Nanuet, NY 10954) The Nanuet Golden Knights topped the visiting Hastings Yellow Jackets basketball team by a final score of 51-42 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Golden Knights face the Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 19. Nanuet will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Falcons enter the game with a 6-6 record after their 67-54 league win over Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY).

With the defeat, Hastings moves to 8-5 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Irvington (Irvington, NY) to face the Bulldogs in a Section 1 III - C game on Friday, January 18. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 9-4. Irvington lost 74-63 in their recent league game against Pearl River (Pearl River, NY)
