New York High School Volleyball - Mahopac over Panas

(September 19, 2008: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567) The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mahopac Indians (Mahopac, NY) and the host Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY), saw Mahopac's volleyball squad beat Panas by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Mahopac upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Indians host Gorton (Yonkers, NY) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Gorton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against North Rockland (Thiells, NY)

The Panthers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. Panas will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gorton (Yonkers, NY). The Rams record now stands at 1-6.
