New York High School Basketball - North Rockland ripped by Greeley

(January 12, 2008: Chappaqua, NY 10514) Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY) followers exited the stadium happy Saturday as they observed their basketball team triumph over the visiting North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY), 54-31 in a non-league contest.

The Quakers now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Somers for a Section 1 II - Central contest on Tuesday, January 15. Greeley will confront a Tuskers team coming off a 38-36 league loss to Jay (Cross River, NY). The Tuskers record now stands at 6-8.

Coming up next, the Raiders confront the Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY) in a Section 1 I - B contest, on Tuesday, January 15. North Rockland will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Gryphons enter the contest with a 7-5 record after their 76-53 league win over Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY).
