(September 6, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) In Saturday's non-league game, the Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY) football team smashed the visiting Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY), by a final score of 44-0.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY). The Panthers come into the Section 1 B-2 game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Pleasantville was trounced by Rye (Rye, NY), 20-7, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Byram Hills for a Section 1 B-1 game on Saturday, September 13. Irvington will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-0.
