(January 25, 2008: Spring Valley, NY 10977) The Suffern Mounties basketball team (Suffern, NY), dropped 67-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY)

The Gryphons now sport a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Clarkstown South for a Section 1 I - B battle on Tuesday, January 29. Ramapo will meet a Vikings team coming off a 54-39 non-league loss to Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 9-6.

The Mounties (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against North Rockland (Thiells, NY). The Raiders come into the Section 1 I - B battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, North Rockland beat Clarkstown North (New City, NY), 51-49, in a league battle.
