New York High School Basketball - Edgemont prevails Hudson

(December 14, 2007: Montrose, NY 10548) Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY), 47-39 in a non-league bout.

The Panthers now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pelham Memorial for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 15. Edgemont will play a Pelicans squad coming off a 56-40 non-league win over Port Chester (Port Chester, NY). The Pelicans record now stands at 4-2.

Next up, the Sailors play the Port Chester Rams (Port Chester, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 15. Hudson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 56-40 non-league loss to Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY).
