(December 14, 2007: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) The Westlake Wildcats basketball team (Thornwood, NY), was routed 59-22 in Friday's league contest with the host Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY)

Coming up next, the Bears meet the Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY) in a Section 1 III - A contest, on Friday, December 21. Briarcliff will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 42-35 league win over Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY).

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel (New Rochelle, NY). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel trounced Good Counsel Academy (White Plains, NY), 50-39, in a league contest.
