New York High School Basketball - Greeley prevails Regina

(December 7, 2007: Hartsdale, NY 10530) Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Regina Tigers (Hartsdale, NY), 57-47 in a non-league bout.

The Quakers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Beacon for a non-league bout on Monday, December 10. Greeley will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-35 non-league win over Spring Valley (Spring Valley, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) in a Catholic bout, on Sunday, December 9. Regina will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 48-34 non-league win over Wagner (Staten Island, NY).
