(January 8, 2008: Dobbs Ferry, NY ) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Leake-Watts Lions (Yonkers, NY) and the host Children's Village (Dobbs Ferry, NY), saw Leake-Watts's basketball squad knock off Children's Village by a score of 55-44.

With the victory, Leake-Watts improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hamilton (Elmsford, NY) to battle the Raiders in a Section 1 IV - A challenge on Thursday, January 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Hamilton won 52-42 in their recent league challenge against Schechter (Hartsdale, NY)

The now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Tuckahoe for a Section 1 IV - A test on Thursday, January 10. Children's Village will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 87-59 league win over Leake-Watts (Yonkers, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
