New York High School Volleyball - Croton-Harmon tips Pleasantville

(September 23, 2008: Pleasantville, NY 10570) Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Pleasantville Panthers (Pleasantville, NY), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY) in a Section 1 Class B - League A match, on Friday, September 26. Croton-Harmon will attempt to advance on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY).

With the loss, Pleasantville drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY) to clash with the Gaels in a Section 1 Class B - League A match on Thursday, September 25.
