New York High School Basketball - Tappan Zee winner over Cathedral Prep

(December 7, 2007: Elmhurst, NY 11373) The Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) basketball knocked off the host Cathedral Prep Crusaders (Elmhurst, NY), 69-56 in Friday's non-league test.

The Dutchmen (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Clarkstown South topped Tuxedo (Tuxedo, NY), 70-24, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league test on Friday, December 14. Cathedral Prep will clash with a Presidents squad coming off a 60-51 non-league win over St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Kenmore, NY). The Presidents record now stands at 2-0.
