GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Volleyball - North Rockland over Jay

(October 14, 2008: Cross River, NY 10536) In Tuesday's non-league bout, the North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) volleyball squad were victorious over the host Jay Indians (Cross River, NY), by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, North Rockland upgrades its record to 14-2 on the year. The Raiders travel to Suffern (Suffern, NY) to play the Mounties in a Section 1 Class AA - League B bout on Thursday, October 16. The Mounties go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Suffern won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Clarkstown North (New City, NY)

The Indians now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yorktown for a Section 1 Class A - League B bout on Thursday, October 16. Jay will play a Huskers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Brewster (Brewster, NY). The Huskers record now stands at 9-5.
