New York High School Basketball - Jay prevails Ketcham

(January 17, 2008: Hopewell Junction, NY 12533) Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ketcham Indians (Wappingers Falls, NY), 59-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Jay upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Patriots host Susquehanna Valley (Conklin, NY) to play the Sabers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 19. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Indians play the Arlington Admirals (LaGrangeville, NY) in a Section 1 I - C bout, on Friday, January 25. Ketcham will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Admirals go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Wallkill (Wallkill, NY).
