New York High School Basketball - Edgemont topples Eastchester

(January 19, 2008: Eastchester, NY 10709) In Saturday's league outing, the Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY) basketball squad beat the host Eastchester Eagles (Eastchester, NY), by a count of 50-36.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Byram Hills (Armonk, NY). The Bobcats go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Byram Hills gained a win over Harrison (Harrison, NY), 55-32, in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 1-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edgemont for a Section 1 III - B outing on Saturday, January 26. Eastchester will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Byram Hills (Armonk, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
