New York High School Volleyball - Pearl River over Nanuet

(October 7, 2008: Pearl River, NY 10965) In Tuesday's league contest, the Pearl River Pirates (Pearl River, NY) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Pirates battle the Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Pearl River will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Gryphons come into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Rockland (Thiells, NY).

With the loss, Nanuet drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Golden knights host Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY) to battle the Horsemen in a Section 1 Class B - League C contest on Wednesday, October 15.
