New York High School Basketball - Woodlands topples Pleasantville

(December 7, 2007: Hartsdale, NY 10530) In Friday's non-league outing, the Woodlands Falcons (Hartsdale, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Pleasantville Panthers (Pleasantville, NY), by a margin of 60-43.

The Falcons (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Briarcliff gained a win over Our Lady of Victory Academy (Dobbs Ferry, NY), 65-48, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Eastchester for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 11. Pleasantville will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 44-29 non-league loss to Ursuline B (New Rochelle, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
