New York High School Football - Millbrook held off by Tappan Zee

(October 15, 2006: Orangeburg, NY 10962) The Tappan Zee Dutchmen held off the visiting Millbrook Blazers football squad by a final score of 28-22 in Sunday's non-league outing.

The Dutchmen now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to New York Military Academy for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 21. Tappan Zee will confront a Knights squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Yonkers, NY). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Millbrook moves to 2-6 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Stissing Mountain (Pine Plains, NY) to confront the Bombers in a Section 9 C outing on Saturday, October 21. The Bombers go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Stissing Mountain lost 27-24 in their recent non-league outing against Highland (Highland, NY)
