(September 28, 2007: Hastings on Hudson, NY 10706) The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY) and the host Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY), observed Edgemont's football squad defeat Hastings by a count of 34-7.

The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Briarcliff for a Section 1 B-2 contest on Saturday, October 6. Edgemont will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY). The Bears record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY) in a Section 1 B-3 contest, on Saturday, October 6. Hastings will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
