(September 28, 2008: Somers, NY 10589) The Magnus Falcons football team (Bardonia, NY), was beaten 35-13 in Sunday's non-league challenge with the host Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY)

The Gaels (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY). The Bears come into the Section 1 B-2 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Briarcliff achieved victory over Irvington (Irvington, NY), 14-6, in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Valhalla for a Section 1 C/D - League B challenge on Saturday, October 4. Magnus will meet a Vikings team coming off a 37-0 league loss to Dobbs Ferry (Dobbs Ferry, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 0-4.
